This Colombian chili seems to think it’s still living in the southern hemisphere.
A friend collected the seeds in the wild and brought them to Berlin. Only one of the ten I got germinated, but then proceeded to grow quite well.
Of course I collected some seeds from the fruit it made (plump small chilies with exactly 7 seeds each) and hopefully these will grow to be more acclimatized to the local weather.
