Where once there was a wall.
Late afternoon.
This wood palette is from Norway and was used as a floor board in the shed. It says “freezer & fridge” apparently.
Accidental demolition geometry
Wood parts of shed mostly gone, just some beams left. The front was covered with tin sheets.
The power outlets from the shed are also still functional and quite charming / antique looking
Learned from our electrician neighbor that this cable is very old, from when ground was not yet standardized as green & yellow. He says it’s still in perfectly good condition to be reused and will outlive us both.
Roof demolition in progress
In DDR times you built your roof with whatever wood you could get your hands on… Soap shipping crates, etc…
Asphalt roof all packed up to be disposed of. We are allowed 25 kg of trash disposal per person per day free of charge.
(it’s actually only 20kg now. Many bus rides with red sacks to be made…)
